Far off in Northern Labrador at Churchill Falls , the Canadians have constructed a huge dam that generates millions of kilowatts of electricity. This hydro-electric power lights up a good portion of our New England states. If batteries were efficient enough , that electricity could power cars and trucks directly. But batteries are heavy , need constant recharging , and only have limited power. The answer of course is to use hydrogen as the intermediare. Hydrogen powers fuel cells in cars. Hydrogen combustion engines can power trucks. Hydro allows N1R to use the two fundamental elements , hydro power and water , to create hydrogen. Hydro generates electricity. Using that electricity N1R can generate hydrogen from water. When that hydrogen burns in cars and trucks the waste product is once again water. It's a dream scenario for clean energy. Hydro alone obviously cannot be used to create energy for transportation. Only a boat going downstream can make direct use of hydro for power. But hydro can create electricity. And that electricity can be used to produce much of the hydrogen that will replace our dependence on foreign oil. This is the ultimate green energy solution.
