The beginnings of this project could certainly go a lot faster if we had some government funding. Some of you understand these sources much better than N1R ever will. We need your help to find the right government office , to fill out the proper forms , to ask in a respectful manner , to report on progress to the appropriate watch dog. More than any topic other than winning the Iraq war , alternate energy is the topic of political dreams. Windmills , solar power , batteries , none of these have the power to replace gasoline and diesel fuel. Combustable hydrogen is five times as powerful as gasoline. All of the alternate energy sources can produce electricity to create hydrogen : wind , hydro electric , solar cells , coal , and nuclear. But only hydrogen is powerful enough and safe enough to replace gasoline and deisel in the transportation industry. The private sector can do great things. With government help we can be an unbeatable team to make hydrogen the transportation energy source of the future.
